Lyrics

This feels just like before
I’ve washed ashore a grandiose architecture
The bricks are inert, so far away
I can’t find or know what or why I’ve come
but harbor a vague familiarity
The parasites in my skin have rotted me to the core
I don’t remember anymore
I’m lost and won’t be found with only revelry,
never sound
The sand is quick around my feet
The water’s gone down the well
The trees begin to swell and I can see their knots
Their dark and dry bark begins to rot
Their burning leaves fall from the air
and spark the sand
The Earth sighs a reprimand
Reaching out a hand god relayed to Death
Decayed, Hell and the world simmer and sink to the brink
and over the edge
I feel the fall of all I’ve known and
close my eyes, forgotten, disowned
to feel like before I had crumpled the world
The reaping crops which I had sewn
I open my eyes and somehow I’ve grown
The water washes my face
and I find a new place to drown
