Soundwave [Single] by Riot Jazz Brass Band
The fifth single release of 2025 is a re-recording of the classic track 'Soundwave', one of the first original compositions ever performed by the band. Originally written in 2009 to be performed at The Big Chill festival, the up-tempo drum-and-bass inspired track is named after the legendary Croatian festival of the same name, which the band performed at multiple times in the 2010s. It has remained a firm favourite in the band's sets over the years, and to this day can still be guaranteed to get audiences moving and grooving!
Since setting sail in late-noughties Manchester, Riot Jazz Brass Band has been the bare-breasted, fist-pumping galleon figure of the Riot Jazz armada. Stirring up a hot-pot of peace-lovin' aggro-jazz and re-interpreted dancefloor bangers, these brass-wielding super-heroes of fine-tuning the good times have filled ear-holes, dance floors and festival fields across countries and continents!
