Since its beginning, Easy Tempo has released monographic albums across various musical styles. With Feelings by Stefano Torossi, they proudly introduce a legendary funky microgroove.
Following the inclusion of "Running Fast" in Easy Tempo Collection Vol. 5, the Right Tempo offices were inundated with remix requests from around the globe, including from some of today’s biggest names. Unfortunately, all of these artists required the now-unavailable multitracks to proceed, leading to a wait until DJ Vadim from Ninja Tune discovered the right vibe and produced an incredible remix of "Walking In The Dark" (featured on the upcoming Easy Tempo Experience Vol. 3) by sampling directly from the original record.
Despite its perfect Motown/Philadelphia sound—revisited through the lens of a soundtrack specialist—Feelings was recorded in 1974. The music within this microgroove pulses with funky energy, complemented by string arrangements that seem to have inspired 4 Hero during the creation of their debut album.
With this funky release, Easy Tempo finally pays tribute to Stefano Torossi’s talents and the Funky Music genre that has kept millions moving for decades. Feelings is an absolute essential for every funky DJ’s record bag.
