To live a life on borrowed time,
The glow of youth left far behind.
To seek the truth on bended knee,

I listen for the Siren’s song, To lead me where my heart belongs.
This forking path from which I’ve come,
A knowing voice that can’t be wrong.
Is there a plan in place to see us through this time and space?
I watch and wait for subtle signs that life is more than borrowed time.
