Notch Road by Richard Ruane and Beth Duquette

Notch Road was released in 2018. This is our first recording since 2011. It was #19 on the DJFolk International list for June 2018 right after it’s release. It quickly was chosen as a CD of the week on Midnight Special Chicago 98.7 FM. It was named the Best Folk Album of the Year by the Vermont Times Argus newspaper, one of the Best Vermont Albums of 2018 by County Tracks website, and one of the Best Albums of the Year by the Folkchef's Kitchen podcast.

Notch Road was recorded between May, 2016 and February, 2018 at the Rost Family cabin, Michael and Cindy Seligmann’s barn, Matt Flinner and Wendy Harlin’s barn, and the Toast Pirate Roving Kind Studios of Lincoln and Ripton.

Our thanks to all the wonderful musicians who took part in this project (especially you, Mitch).
