Like it’s always been this way
The constant growth of competing sovereign nations
Leading us to gradual decay

The world can carry all, but we need a different mind
A genuine call
A call for change of course away from catastrophe

Forget philanthropy or charity
Or rainbow exploitation
What we need is cooperation and solidarity

As more prehistoric carcasses combust
We approach a future made of dust
The alternative is not an alternative
It’s the only way to live

Radical is not extreme
It’s the only way to avert
A slow, painful end of the Anthropocene
