NIMBY#3 by Reuben Ingall
NIMBY#3 and #4 contain a mix of different no input mixing approaches I’ve tried out since the release of #2 in March 2020. #3 is basically the “doof” collection, and #4 is more varied. The tracks are all live takes, most at home though some are excerpts from performances. They all use no input mixing techniques plus loop pedals, though some #3 tracks feature a kick drum loop from a cassette, and loops of touching my finger to the end of a lead (bzz!), and some #4 tracks have loops recorded off the radio, and different configurations of loop pedals and a reverb unit within and outside the mixer feedback loops.
