Blurring the lines between jazz and progressive metal, Resurrecting Id is an innovative quartet based in Tucson, Arizona. The brainchild of saxophonist Christopher Herald, Resurrecting Id combines jazz-based improvisation with rhythmic components of progressive rock and metal. The result is a genre-bending synthesis that is at home both in jazz clubs and and rock venues.
