I saved a record of my youth that's kept by magnets
Cased in plastic locked indoors and free from static
Filed by number in my attic

Dress it up when I play it back

On my own the digits of the counter roll me back
To where I left the marker on my drum track
On my Teac
I miss the whining of the wheel in motion liberation
Only intervening seasons stopped the demonstrations

I made some music cause I became a human
