Reid has recorded with Cowboy Junkies, Samantha Parton (Be Good Tanyas), Sarah Harmer and various members of Blue Rodeo. But this time he is recording with an especially special guest…the missus!
Now there are cd releases and then there are cd releases. Juniper's Kitchen, 12 years in the making, is the first with Reid Jamieson being joined by his wife and long-time songwriting partner Carolyn Victoria Mill on vocals. A true labour of love, they wrote and sang every song together, and will release it on their wedding anniversary in October by taking a 2 month ‘tourcation’ with club dates and house concerts in Canada, the US, and even the UK! A little Johnny and June meets Fleetwood Mac, this country-flavoured record is all about the songs. No crowdfunding or label support, just a lot of hard work and talented friends pulling for the same magical musical outcome. We think you are going to like what they cooked up.
