Amen, Brother! by Red Spots

This is my album, "Amen, Brother!" that I've been working on since at least January 2024 or so.
It's about love, acceptance, religion, and trauma, among other things.
To explain the context, I will say that I got evicted in 2024. It was a slightly traumatic experience, honestly.
But it made me more jaded about things than usual.
Ironically, in times that could be considered worse, I am currently at some kind of weird zen peace state.
I made alot of effort to make sure my mental well being is good, even getting myself on antidepressants and just aiming to improve my life any way I can, I guess.

I purposely made this album alot more catchy and immediate than the previous one. I took alot of notes from the way The Beatles and Nirvana writes songs. Alot more of a tight song structure on these tracks.
The production is also very purposely very noisy and full of delay.

This album is a more reflective one. I let myself be a little more open in a sense. If I'm a "real artist", whatever that means. I do have to put alot of myself in my art. So here it is, months of nonstop work in an album you'll probably forget about before lunch tomorrow.

But no matter what you think, I make music because I have to.
I have no other option.
I must express myself in some way or I won't feel whole, I think.

Anyway, if you like this album, PLEASE share it with people.
I can't make a cent off this album (legally) because it has as many samples as a Daft Punk album and I have as much money as that stray cat outside your house.
So at least tell people if you like it, I guess.

Also, if you do, note that even though my music project is called "Red Spots"
I still should be refered to as "MapleMilk" or just "Maple" not "Red", it sounds awkward.
