“Skoven” is a triumphant dungeon synth collaboration between England’s Of Ancient Names and Denmark’s Pafund. With a concept initially conceived after performances at Dark Dungeon Fest 2023, “Skoven” takes influence from Danish history and folklore to tell tales of man's connection with ancient forests, sunlit castles guarded by vigilant dragons, and the meteoric rise and tragic fall of a beloved hero. These stories are captured through OAN’s medieval majesty channeled with a vintage mellotron and Pafund’s raw conjurations of somber sorcery recorded to tape from a Casio SA-76.
Limited to 50 hand-numbered pro-dubbed black cassettes with a four panel J-card featuring art from illustrative tattoo artist Mia Rose and A/B pad-print.
