"Doombient. Mooie term verzonnen door [...] ['ramp]. En doombient is deze derde cd [...]. Heerlijk donkere space met af en toe flink wat sequencerwerk. Vooral in 'Tool' gaat het effe flink tekeer. Verder aan te raden voor de liefhebbers van dark ambient en space. Al opgenomen in 2001 maar erg fijn dat dit toch nog is uitgebracht. Waardige afsluiter van 2005! [...]"

Originally founded in the spring of 1996. The name refers to the Dutch word "de ramp" which means "disaster" or "catastrophe".
Between 1997 and 2003, ['ramp] released a string of albums and played a couple of concerts in the Netherlands, the UK, and Germany before Parsick went entirely solo in 2009.
