Turmeric Tea by Raiza Biza
African Kiwi artist Raiza Biza ends summer on a high note with a return to his signature sound dropping the single ‘Turmeric Tea’ taken off his new album ‘A Summer In Retrograde’. This is the first release since his Aotearoa Music Award nominated project ‘Grand Opening, Grand Closing’ which came out at the height of COVID lockdown in New Zealand last year.
As part of the African-New Zealand diaspora, Raiza Biza emerged as a notable figure and a young leader within his community, with his music reflecting his own developing and evolving outlook on life. As such, Raiza Biza’s music has always carried weight and soulful messages, backed by insatiably engaging production and arrangements.
