Resignify [EP] by Rainburn

Resignify is a companion EP to 2018's Insignify, consisting of live cuts and stripped-down and re-dressed versions of songs from the latter. Insignify was an album about looking for purpose within and beyond the realms of insecurity and narcissism; Resignify is about assigning new meanings to those themes. The protagonist of Insignify is a year older and wiser but now, more than ever, realizes the circular and never-ending nature of the quest to find himself.

This EP marks a closure to the Insignify chapter of Rainburn's history; more than that, Resignify is in fact a closure to all of the band's past, it being the last release to feature the band's most enduring line-up to date, and containing in its folds a re-recorded version of a song from the band's debut EP from 2014. It's time for Rainburn to leap into an bold, new future.
