April Dub by Sancho Meiso Chaya & Koyas

A split EP by two live acts that recreation of their electronic sound sessions.

This is a dub/experimental split EP by Sancho Meiso Chaya, an electronic music project by producer Shin Sasama, and Koyas, owner of the psymatics label.
The EP is based on their session recordings, which they deconstructed and reconstructed in their own way to create abstract soundscapes.
Koyas' sophisticated production shines on M1 "April Dub (Koyas Mix)", while M4 "Crosstalk Dub (Chaya Mix)'' features Sancho’s primitive and dope sound. Their combination makes this ep a perfect music companion for springtime daydreaming. Artwork by Stone63, mastered by Kentaro Kimura.

流麗なダウンビートからドープなエクスペリメンタルまで、春のうたた寝に最適な一作

この作品は、プロデューサーのShin Sasamaによる電子音楽プロジェクト＝Sancho Meiso Chaya／山頂瞑想茶屋と、psymaticsレーベルオーナーのKoyasがタッグを組んだダブ〜エクスペリメンタルなスプリットEP。
彼らがセッションした録音を元に、各々の解釈で解体・再構築して、抽象画のようなサウンドスケープに仕上げた音源が収録されている。
M1”April Dub （Koyas Mix）”ではKoyasの洗練されたプロダクションが光り、M4”Crosstalk Dub（Chaya Mix）”では、Sancho Meiso Chayaのプリミティブでドープなサウンド。
マスタリングはKimkenが担当し、春のうたた寝のBGMに相応しい一作となった。Stone63によるアートワークも、この抽象画のようなEPの世界観を見事に表現している。
