256Hz|384Hz is the first of several planned excursions from Multidimensional Being, and while this release inhabits the main Ps Ps Ph catalog, subsequent releases will be issued via a new BE subcatalog. This album collects six recordings built using two Hewlett-Packard oscillators, and beyond this, we do not know too much about it. Upon listening, we are slowed down to the point of stillness by the finely focused tones ringing in a beautiful tuned unison, shimmering like a sun ray on the surface of a metallic silver lake. Multidimensional Being offers us equal amounts of richness in both musical and pure sound design terms, and these pieces will find useful purpose-led listening with patrons of the label who meditate or attempt to enter a gnostic state through various approaches. 256Hz|384Hz is an intimate offering of drone synthesis and high-fidelity audio design minimalism, recommended for fans of David Burraston, Eliane Radigue, Eleh or Richard Chartier.
Sleep fictions, lucid maps and gnostic states. Asemic systems designed by night smokers, bedroom alchemists and oligolaliacs, for intimate applications. Est. MMXVII.
