Lawrence is a dear friend of Chaz's, and in turn his family and friends are dear to him as well. Very recently his younger sister was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend, who she had been trying to escape from, leaving behind two very young kiddos, a 1year and 4month year old, and a new baby born just months earlier. We hope to raise some funds to help their family cover costs of their new task of raising these two kiddos as well as help cover costs for a proper burial ceremony. Lawren "Ladi" Lanetta Mitchell was a beautiful, vibrant 22 year-old woman, and a mother of two. Her life ended too soon when she was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend. She was yet another victim of gun violence, at the hands of an abusive partner she was trying to escape from.
Her son Shontrez (called "buddy" by his family) is 1 year and 4 months old, and her newborn daughter, Khamory Mitchell, just joined the world in April. In the face of this unspeakable sadness, we need to come together to support her family as they navigate this loss.

This fundraiser is organized on behalf of Ladi's older brother, Lawrence. All funds will go directly to his family who is handling funeral costs and currently caring for Shontrez.
