Netami by POSY

Portland producer and multi instrumentalist Posy returns to Bastard Jazz with "Netami". Harkening back towards the mid 70s sounds of the likes of Grover Washington Jr. and Bob James - the track is mellow exploration into analog production combined with Posy's deep jazz influences. A sunny meandering bassline, twinkling rhodes and guitar licks, percussion meet a live drum break with a sax driving the whole thing. A perfect late summer vibe for morning coffee or evenings on the porch with friends.

POSY is the recording name of Rudy Klobas, Portland-based producer and multi-instrumentalist with a unique sound that intersects jazz, R&B, and electronic music. Originally trained on classical guitar, POSY taught himself piano, bass, and drums and began recording his first songs on a four-track cassette recorder. POSY's music is lush and densely layered, but maintains an element of simplicity
