NIGHTLY DEVICES by DANIEL HERTZ
Conceived during the re-opening of clubs worldwide in 2022 and eventually finished in late 2023, the debut EP of Daniel Hertz collects a variety of his sonic influences. These range from the more modern approaches to electronic music, but go all the way back to its roots, as far away as dub.
This mixture is further distilled through the visions of expert sound manipulators such as Comarca, Wiz Biz, Shawn Cartier, and DJ Free Download, each reinterpreting the initial ideas and taking them in a completely different direction.
Daniel Hertz himself revises one of the original tracks, further increasing the voltage of an already electrifying release.
