‘unlikely places’ comes from the idea that creativity can be found anywhere—

within the line of a poem,
in the way the moon bathes a hillside in light,
in recognizing your ability to love others and yourself the way you are,
in a vulnerable conversation,
in thinking about what helps you fall asleep,
in an unexpected frog in your throat,
in the way morning birds sing.

it is as if when we are open to the idea that art can arrive anywhere and anytime, it gives us the immense desire to use our senses in deeper ways. we constantly seek out clues for our next creative burst and in doing so, are driven to keep living authentically.

this album was born from unlikely places that we now know were all meant to be more than just another passing moment.
