Queen Marie,
she sits with blindfolded eyes.
Across from a bartender that lives in his lies.
She is subsumed and dies in his subverted guise.
In another life,
she loves under streaks of light
Underneath the clock tower in the glistening night.
She is alive, she has a life.
A sunflower child whose soul has been fried
from a Sun that was born with two left eyes.
