The true story of a friend of a friend. Conditions were so bad for this family of Afghan refugees, that they decided the best future for their five year old daughter would be for her to walk to northern Europe – from Greece, accompanied only by a couple of teenage cousins. (Although unmentioned, there is a small hopefulness here – the children made it, and were granted asylum in Germany).
