Silently Moving by Philipp Weigl

This album is a compilation of songs from the identically named EP from 2005 released on the netlabel Lego-Ego and the EP “Common Cause” released in the same year on the netlabel Comatronic; the track “Country Lane” comes from the 2007 EP “Examples of a Medusa” released on the Thinner-Sublabel Autoplate.

An atmospheric release fusing elements of IDM, dub, house, and emotional melodies. Some tracks are slow-moving, moody pieces. "Sometimes You Lose" is a classic instance of house music with driving beats. "Strangers" is quick paced IDM with heavy bass-lines and catchy melodies. "While You're Sleeping" is a minimal electronic composition of relaxing keyboards and bass with a slight melancholic quality. "The Waiting" is a down tempo track providing a brooding but forceful dub-inspired intro."
