“Barbara”
My dear Italian friend “Barbara” asked me to write her a song for her upcoming birthday. I wrote it with a ridiculous lyric which I sang to her on “Facetime”. I thought it might work as a quartet; with sound effects from her hometown in Italy and vocals by yours truly…here it is.

Scott McIntosh is a Grammy winning composer, arranger and saxophonist based in Austin, Texas. Pete Gemmell is a Juno winning recording engineer and multi-instrumentals based in Ottawa, Ontario. They both grew up playing saxophone in Montreal and have remained fast friends. Their first record, “Josephine Mary” was released in 2019. Their second album “Up and Down” is now available.
