Amazigh by pekodjinn

The Amazigh peoples, sometimes falsely qualified 'Berber'' evolution of the term barbarians ('Barbaros'' in Greek which means people not speaking Greek), are several ethnic groups based from North Africa to the Niger River and from the West of current Egypt to the Canary Islands.
There are several other ethnic groups such as tamazight (Djerba), kabyles in Algeria, Rifains in Morocco and Tuaregs in the Sahara.
Despite the fact that it is almost impossible to speak of this people in a uniform way, cultural similarities can be detected. Such as the declinations of 'tamazight' languages spoken in North Africa or the Tifinagh Touareg; the origins of the nomadic way of life or craftsmanship in pottery and weaving.
The term amazigh which means 'Free Man'' is symbolized by the letter 'Yaz'' or 'Aza'' of the tamazight alphabet has a humanoid form. We found traces of this sign from the Neolithic.

Young producer and dj, Pekodjinn produces a singular music, between genres and borders that he calls ''afromaghreb''.
His songs are very percussive, punchy, sometimes deep, Pekodjinn associates influences form his Tunisian roots and European underground club's culture.
