Pearsoll Peak's 24th release is label co-founder Matthew Pepitone's official follow-up to his self-titled full-length solo album released on Bud Tapes in 2023. On offer is a continuous collection of 18 unreleased tracks from the trove.

Across a marathon 75 minutes, the material here is more beat-heavy and rhythm-oriented than its predecessor while maintaining a shared focus on experimental Eurorack composition coupled with obsessive post-production polish and processing.

While being Pearsoll Peak's first digital-only release, MP2 is intentionally presented here in a virtual Side A/Side B format to encourage listening as a seamless "mixtape" with segues kept intact.
