Worked on this on and off for about 2 years, because I occasionally felt nostalgic for the bass wobbles, wonky beats and lofi atmos of the 2010s.
This schizophrenic EP sits uncomfortably somewhere in between early 2000s UK dubstep and the kind of computer music I normally do.
The last tune is a "proper rinsin" dubstep banger, whereas the rest of the pieces on this EP refract the idiomatic timbres and rhythms of early and second-wave dubstep through an abstracting prism.
