Paleface was schooled by underground icon Daniel Johnston, and soon discovered in NYC by Danny Fields (The Stooges, The Ramones). He's released albums for Polygram & Sire, as well as indie labels Ramseur & Shimmy Disc. He’s been called a major influence & inspiration by many artists, including multi-Grammy recipient BECK and The Avett Brothers, who featured him on their album Four Thieves Gone.
