This release is tribute to the warm static noise of the good ol’ cassette tapes otem grew up with. Eleven songs built from guitar loops, self help tapes, shitty records, childhood recordings, a roommates earring, and the amazing guitar and vocal accompaniment by Lifeboat Etiquette. However introspective and nostalgic, this album is not without its moments of hope and an optimistic view of the future. If you want to learn french, quit smoking, accept Armageddon, talk to the spirits of dead pets, stare at then sun or just get lost in the studio noise and tape hiss, pick up this album.
