This album is a nod to the music that haunts me and that has forged my musical identity.
"athame" is inspired by the representation of witchcraft and evil throughout the ages, from witch hunts to evil cults.
The athame is a consecrated dagger, stick, or staff used in magical ceremonies and rites.
