When I saw him talk about his kids (on arte tv), I had to cry - and write a song about the unimaginable suffering, the pain, the loss. 'Qais' is not about politics or ideology, just the people, just a little girl, dead, and her father and his unbelievable story! Dirk Schlömer 11/29/24
