Open Music is both a concert series and a performing group. Founded as a way to present the more adventurous and experimental side music making, Open Music works as a kind of experimental municipal band. There is no requirement for joining the band other than willingness to work together. Many players are professionals, some are amateurs, and some are performing for the first time.
