In early 2014 I was very impressed by a short melody from Songbirdsongs by John Luther Adams. This fragment ringed out in my mind for a long time like a bird mantra. For months I wondered how could I rework that short sample with the aim of express my considerations about the importance of bird chirping in the evolution of music. This is the result, two short compositions made in a condition of spiritual balance between the eternal elements of dichotomy.
