Adrift from I: Descent by Oceans & Omens
Adrift is the introduction to Oceans & Omens' conceptual narrative. Our protagonist encounters a violent storm out on the open ocean and he and his beloved are swept up in the cyclonic tempest. Their vessel is destroyed in the maelstrom and both characters are cast adrift to be claimed by the raging waves.
Adrift is song number I, and depicts the protagonist's fight for survival.
