sometime.. somehow.. in late 2022 telko got hold of NYZ's Akai MPC One to evaluate it for his own strange brew of experimental tendansieze .. as you can hear in this research report.

[incomprehensible] .. and then woz trying to imagine w0t one of my ultra short hydraphone recordings would sound like with that PaulXStretch thingy. but i had not got it on my computer, although i did have access to 0ld blokeym8z MPC and it had time stretch, also high priority on the expz listy. so with that in mind i dug out a super tiny hydrophone sample from 2018 at bethungra dam in remote nsw, and kept repeatedly making it longer and loonger aannndddd loooongggeeeeerrrrr.. "

" .. aaand even more loooongerer as well .. .. and layerererered.. so, well, after a bit it got pretty long, er , yea, quite long actually. so I setup a keymap program and triggered it from the pads, got setup with some loops adjusted as it evolved slowly over about an hour or so. in my mind i imagine this as a tiny frozen snapshot of trillions of tiny microorganisms & particles captured in a volume of water thats about to be sluiced, degungelified, and piped out to the new frontier world of plumbed water pipes..”
