Earworm by Nox Doloris

Ben-Salleh Ashur, who served as a court musician to King Artahshatra IV, dreamed of becoming famous and composing the most marvelous and exquisite melody that the human ear had ever heard. However, the muses left him, because inspiration did not visit Ben-Salleh for many years. In his search, he tried everything, and finally turned to black magic, obtaining from the priests of the Pasargadi tribe a manuscript with sinister spells to summon entities from other worlds. Dreaming of calling on a beautiful muse who would sing a sweet melody to him, Ben-Salleh recited a spell aloud. But instead of a muse, a demon so inexpressibly terrible heard him, him that Ben-Salleh Ashur, who saw at the court the most outlandish creatures and the most sophisticated tortures, at the same second turned gray and hoarse. However, his suffering had just begun, because before him appeared the offspring of Angra Mainyu himself, the devas Freptar Azi-Dahak, a serpent-like demon of lies, deceit and obsession. Immediately, it wrapped itself around Ben-Salleh's neck and with its fetid mouth began to exude sounds so disgustingly gurgling and intrusive, as if a worm had entered the head through the ear and was slowly devouring its contents. This terrible music had no beginning, no end, no form, no melody, only an endless rumble and rumble that accompanied Ben-Salleh day and night, breakfast and dinner, at home and on the street, slowly depriving him of reason. Realizing that he would soon come to an end, the unfortunate musician left a note where his fading mind tried to capture that unspeakably disgusting music, but archaeologists and historians are still arguing about its contents. Only one phrase is drawn on it with a trembling hand: "TRRRDARADANTRRRDANDARADANNN".
