Accumulation Zone by Atrice
Coming in as the eighteenth release is a selection of 5 textural wonderments from Swiss duo Atrice. Characterised by acute attention to detail, crystalline sound design and the mastery of spatial utilisation, their sound leaves a remarkable impact that will no doubt warrant multiple listens to really capture a sense of how meticulous their works are.
‘Accumulation Zone’ is a holistic release, formed through the recycling and transferal of sounds that cross from one track into the next, lending their features and motifs to one and other like an inorganic symbiotic creature metamorphosizing in hermetic space. The entirety of the release was produced during a stay in the Swiss Alps, casting an icy sheen over the whole collection of tracks. like a shimmering glisten as the warmth of the sun shines on the glacial surface of each piece. A complex unity of moods that complement the never-ceasing evolutionary sequencing and structure of each track.
