Turn by Norman Lamont and the Heaven Sent

Turn has a more indie-rock sound than Norman’s previous work but is still instantly accessible.

As before, the very idea of genre is kicked around and finally discarded: the music ranges from surf-rock instrumental California Joyride to soul ballads You Just Want the Thrill and Call Back Fall Back, from the lush acoustic and choral arrangement of A Careless Blow to the ambient meditation of The Right Thing.

What will hit you first, though, are the pop standouts of She Wants Out, What Use Is That? and the title track Turn.
