Originally intended as studies for other projects, these sound sketches serve as a means for Downey to investigate new creative possibilities in their tuba performance practice with electronics. The result is a whimsical juxtaposition of loops, noises, and cackles that twist into distorted shapes alongside soaring themes, creating quirky soundscapes that characterize the tuba as a versatile chanteuse.
