Back where it all began!
In 2010 The Pimptones broke onto the funk and soul scene with this 7". Released on Wack records, "Deeper Pimp" features a famous acapella with a killer live band backing. More than just a cover, a reworking or a reimagining, the guys started from scratch with a Hendrix inspired dirty breakbeat funk jam which couldn't be further from the slick pop soul of the original.
This single features the "Smoove Retouch", backed with The Breakbeat Junkie's track "Turn It Up". A must for any DJ and vinyl lover.
