C o n f l a t i o n s is the coming together of four generations of improvisers and an almost theatrical, sensory journey through different scenarios in which words and sounds combine to create a surrealistic collage that appeals to the listener's imagination. The Morelli/Moser/Neumann/Zimmerlin ensemble experiments with text fragments by Robin Myers’s book as material that interacts with the soundscapes they create. Fragments arouse curiosity, stimulate imagination and draw the attention to what is not shown, what is "missing", what is not represented. They reveal perspectives and points of view that would not be offered if they were "complete". It opens up the expressive space for a multi-perspective view of things.
