Prokletije II by Nemeček
Prokletije II invites an insight into the cold dystopian world of kraut rock and Balkan psychedelic heritage. Born and raised on the flatland of Pannonia, helped by the magic of the new age and Slavonian tambura, the group erects a Balkan wall of sound which evokes ancient times, but also ones that are yet to come. Envisioned as a seamless start-to-finish listening experience, the album artfully explores varieties in harmonic content, dynamic fluidity, and progressive distortion, thus echoing the erosion of contemporary mental landscapes.
