Field Studies by Né'éshjaa'
Field Studies is a set of remixes that calls attention to source material with the ears of a percussionist and the eyes of a weaver, treating popular music through a methodology based on Soviet montage theory in hope of conjuring collided images for the listener.
Field I and III are sourced from one artist per track, while Field II and IV are montages of two artists each. The results are aural signatures feathered with Roland drum kits and cybernetic fabrics.
