Our protagonist walks alone in a quiet, desolate world where the shadows of the trees bend over him like memories from a life long gone. Each step feels like drifting between the past and a barren present, where he questions everything he thought he knew. What purpose was there, really, if he was the only one left to seek it? The endless cycle of growth and ambition seems futile now, as though all his striving had been chasing illusions. The polarity of life, he realizes, is like a pendulum swinging between hope and despair, connection and solitude, fullness and emptiness.
He finds himself aching for the past, for moments he had barely noticed while living them. The memories fill him, but leave a question lingering—what defines him when he is the last witness to his own story? He continues, letting those echoes guide him, unsure if he is walking towards an answer or just deeper into the silence.
