Јесен, in Serbian cyrillic (Jesen in latin alphabet) means autumn in Serbian language, this song is dedicated to this season of the year, my favorite one, and to the lands where this language is spoken and where I've seen the most beautiful autumns in my life, reminds me, with its Slavic melancholy and even nostalgia, the transformation that the year goes through cyclically, and which affects each one of us, going to darker moments within, reflecting the inner decadence of life, the inherent sweet decay of the light, and the necessary death we all experience in some symbolic way before returning to the life and the joy of living.
