Marittimo by My Friend Dario

As My Friend Dario's last album Senza Estate soundtracks another summer, Hell Yeah return to it for a new package featuring the single 'Marittimo' in original form, as an album mix, and with a remix from Eddie C.

'Marittimo' is named after the monthly summer party Dario hosts at Pazmaya in Focallo. It's a loose and exotic rhythm built on elastic drums and peppered with toms, hits, bird calls and shakers. Subtle chords dance up top and fleshy bass is offset by freeform wooden melodies that bring a perfectly organic and sun-baked sound.

The remix comes from Canadian disco master and Red Motorbike label boss Eddie C, who turns up the heat and builds the tempo. His loopy mix is heavier, with chord stabs and big drum energy serving up a steamy main dish to get the dance floor full up.
