Fuse. pronounced Fusedot, is an emerging producer from Vietnam, who takes music production in many directions, from pretty and emotional to heavy, hard hitting experimentation with granular synthesis and sound design.
Fuse. had this to say about the making of the PRND single.
“This tune is a mix of nasty and nostalgic. I made this tune when experimenting with Granular Synthesis, which Flume inspires. It was the time I underwent my trouble, so that is why this tune obtains a gloomy feel.”
When we first heard this tune, it sounded like a train journey, with the various field recordings, voices and samples of horns and general hustle tussle sort of ambient noise. The tune then drops some heavy basslines and sounds that could be steam whistles, that’s how we heard it anyway. We hope you dig in, and go on your own journey.
