Gea from Terra by Muom Overtone Singing Choir
(goddess of the Earth in Greek Mythology) - Aether: The dance of harmonics returns us little by little to a weightless, ambiguous and ethereal space. We find ourselves at the origin. The timbre of the violin is a bridge between the guttural voices and the overtone singing, until we once again reach the unique sound of the beginning.
MuOM is a vocal group which uses Overtone Singing Techniques, each singer producing two tones at once. MuOM creates its own music, with no words, superimposing the two planes of the voice and it’s harmonics to create slowly shifting harmonies with delicate overtone melodies overtop.
