Better the blackened ocean's depths than the blissful seaside, or worse still the sprawling city, teeming with its infinite humanity and their constant press of thoughts and dramas.

In solitude, in meditations on the “other”, there lies solace from the suffocating press of society. And there, in those dark places, plans are spun, futures planned where all crowds are gone, the cities silent, and those few who remain sit alone beneath the endless night sky.
